ATHLETE ER  WORKSHOP

INTRODUCING OUR COLLECTIVE

 

Stress, pressure, anxiety, depression, are conditions that are common in the sports industry that may go unnoticed and untreated. Athletes and staff members are often afraid of talking about their issues out of fear of jepordising their careers. Athlete ER is passionate about helping sports clubs, academies, and agencies to recognize how mental health can be affected and give them the solutions and support to help their athletes and staff members.

 

In this six-week program, 6 x 2 hour weekly  events, you will be introduced to our team of former professional athletes who have played in top leagues in the USA, UK, and European clubs. From the NFL, NHL, NBA through top  international soccer coaches and players who have all successfully transitioned into becoming service providers in mindset training, mindfulness, mentorship, and energy work. 

 

All of them have suffered in different, yet similar ways in their particular sport. Ways to which every athlete, older or younger may relate. 

 

They will share some of their fascinating stories of the joys and pressures of being in top clubs, and the different ways they eventually learned how to manage and cope when things didn't go so well. 

 

Their sessions will include an introduction to their specialized programs, which are designed to help others to understand and listen to their inner self, communicate more effectively, as well as give solutions to the variety of problems that may arise in their life and career.

 

The program will also include introduction sessions of mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and energy work from our team of certified Mind and Body Therapists, all of whom have worked with professional athletes.  Our practitioners will also explain the benefits of these simple yet effective practices that include the scientific and medical proof of reducing mental health issues, reducing pain, and accelerating injury recovery. 

 

This 2 week series of workshops  is designed to continue the learning from the 6 - week program. From all of the facilitators in part 1, you get to choose who you would like to invite back again to deepen your participant's learning understanding and knowledge. They will delve deeper into their programs or practices with with you, to give a deeper and more practical learning of  the methods you were introduced to.
